Chris Norris, Executive Director: Mr. Norris worked as Assistant Director of Citizens Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA) for ten years, where he was responsible for directing the organization’s state legislative policy work. Before that, he served as the coordinator of the National Consumer Law Center 's Foreclosure Prevention Program. He received his B.A. from University of the Pacific and his J.D. from the Massachusetts School of Law. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Chelsea Neighborhood Developers and the Homeowner Options for Massachusetts Elders. Carla Bennett, Director of Development: Ms. Bennett joined MBHP in December 2008. She is responsible for all fund-raising activities to support MBHP’s programs and services. Prior to Ms. Bennett’s joining MBHP, she served as the first development director at the Action Center for Educational Services and Scholarships, where she designed the organization’s fund-raising plan and annual appeal concept. Additionally, Ms. Bennett has served as the May Institute’s senior major gifts officer and as the associate vice president of institutional advancement for the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Howard Clayman, Director of Informational Services: Mr. Clayman joined the IT Department at MBHP in January 2008. He has worked in IT support since the early 1980s and has experience in networking and server and desktop support in addition to programming skills. Kevin Donaher, Director of Inspectional and Property Owner Services: Mr. Donaher has more than two decades’ experience in affordable housing and services to lower-income families and individuals. Since 1987 he has held a number of key positions at MBHP, such as acting director of rental assistance and director of the Scattered Site Family Emergency Shelter program. In his current position, Mr. Donaher ensures quality of service to MBHP’s tenants and landlords. He has a B.A. in education from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Mary Doyle, Director of Policy and Program Development: Ms. Doyle joined MBHP in the fall of 2003, after six years as an executive director of a statewide advocacy organization committed to ending family homelessness. She has been active on several boards of organizations working to end homelessness and provide housing. Previously, she worked in the environmental field. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Health from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a M.S. in Environmental Health Science from Harvard University School of Public Health. Susan Nohl, Director of Leased Housing: Ms. Nohl joined MBHP in 1999 as a team leader in our Rental Assistance department. Previously, she had been director of the Scattered Site Shelter at Tri-City Housing Task Force for Homeless Families in Malden. Before that, Ms. Nohl was a program director for Eastern Middlesex Human Services in Wakefield and a case manager at Central Middlesex Association for Retarded Citizens. Maura Pensak, Director of Client Services: Ms. Pensak began her work at Bridge Over Troubled Waters in 1982 as a street/outreach worker. Following her eight years at Bridge, Ms. Pensak worked for 14 years at the Women’s Lunch Place, where she transferred her counseling and advocacy skills from young people to women from their early 20’s to their late 80’s. Rev. Anne M. Rousseau , Chief Financial Officer: Ms. Rousseau joined MBHP in 1997, managing the agency’s accounting and financial reporting functions, and was promoted to CFO in 2002. Prior to her tenure at MBHP, she managed the Accounts Payable department at Learningsmith, Inc. In addition, Ms. Rousseau has served for nine years as the chaplain at Germaine Lawrence, a premier residentail treatment center for at-risk girls.
